FAQs

Q: My existing driveway is concrete, can you help me?

A: Our surfacing solutions are perfect for existing driveways that are either sound concrete or asphalt. If your concrete driveway is plain (bare), sealed, stenciled, painted, or even stamped, then we have a solution for you.

Q: My driveway has some sort of painted coating on it, is this ok?

A: Our specialist team will remove that existing coating as part of their preparation, so your new surfacing solution will bond to the concrete and last for years to come.

Q: Can you apply your product to a crushed rock driveway?

A: No, if you have a driveway or pathway that is crushed rock, sand, dirt, or gravel, then we cannot apply our product to your driveway. You must have a concrete or asphalt driveway to ensure that there is a substrate for our product to bond to.

Q: I’m still not sure if driveway resurfacing is suitable for my property, will you do an inspection?

A: Absolutely, we offer a free onsite consultation to determine how we can best help you find the right solution.

Q: My concrete driveway has some cracking, will this be a problem?

A: Minor surface cracking is not a significant concern, our teams will be able to fill in those surface cracks and repair them to ensure it’s level. If your driveway has major structural cracking and defects, an on site inspection will be required to determine if we can assist.

Q: How long will my driveway be out of use?

A: As our name suggests, we will endeavour to hand your driveway back on the same day!

We understand that every driveway is different in size and requires varied surface preparation, so we will never compromise quality and service, though our experience suggests that if you have a conventional concrete or asphalt driveway in sound condition of between 40-80m2, then you’ll be driving on it at the end of our shift!

Q: Is the new driveway going to provide anti slip properties?

A: Yes, your new surfacing solution will be perfect for steep driveways, ramps, and the challenges in a winter climate, and will give you an anti slip solution that will meet P5 standards. Sameday driveways Pty Ltd Will happily supply independent NATA testing certificates to evidence this.

Q: What sort of weather conditions do you need to be able to work in?

A: It is important that the surface area is clean and dry for our teams to start their work. This will also ensure that our solution will adhere to your existing concrete or asphalt.

Q: Is there any maintenance or up keep required once my driveway has been surfaced?
